Stall_
2009
Stall_Through a combination of designed awkwardness and mechanical crisis the stall operates as an experiment looking into the reactions, and resultant interactions of its customers.
Using a simple product, (cakes) the stall is reactive to its customers. The combination of commercial success and greed/desire on behalf of the consumer triggers a series of events leading, ultimately, to the stall’s destruction
The destruction is facilitated by a series of agents; mechanical devices unwittingly activated by the customer. These agents undermine the stall’s structure, leading to the potential shock, confusion or embarrassment of the customers responsible.
